JOB - Junior Robot & Automation Engineer
LOCATION - Milton Keynes
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £30,000 to £35,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is collaborating with an innovative company specializing in robotics and automation. They are looking to onboard a Junior Robot & Automation Engineer to join their growing team and work on cutting-edge projects across various industries.
The Junior Robot & Automation Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with industrial robots and automation systems (e.g., ABB, Fanuc, KUKA).
- Understanding of PLC programmingand control systems.
- Familiarity with CAD software for system design and integration.
- Basic knowledge of sensors, actuators, and industrial communication protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a dynamic environment.
The Junior Robot & Automation Engineer role will involve:
- Assisting in the design, programming, and implementation of robotic and automation systems.
- Conducting tests and troubleshooting for robotic systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Supporting the installation and commissioning of robots and automation equipment.
- Collaborating with senior engineers to develop innovative automation solutions.
- Producing technical documentation and reports related to projects.
- Participating in training and development to advance knowledge of robotics and automation.
- Providing support for maintenance and upgrades of existing systems.
