Meet Conor Pearce, Conor started Premier in 2017 as a trainee consultant. He quickly became an essential part of our team in our Birmingham office before making the move at the start of this year to our office out in Austin, Texas. After settling in, we can’t wait to see the growth and success Conor will have in his new market. We sat down with Conor to get his side of the story for this massive relocation from Birmingham to Austin, Texas...
The Beginning
“I had just finished my BSc degree from Cardiff University & wasn’t too sure what route to take moving forward, I had a couple of friends who worked in recruitment & felt my skillset would align well. I applied for roles in Birmingham & managed to land myself a job with Premier. I relocated from Cornwall and started at Premier Group. I had 5 very successful years in the UK, working with some fantastic organisations, breaking a lot of office records & going on some amazing incentives including Prague, Amsterdam, Silverstone & more”
The Present
“We were looking to further expand our US presence & Andrew, our CEO asked me if I would be interested in a move internationally, it’s something I’d never seriously considered previously so it took me a couple of months to decide, however, I’m so happy I did. Austin so far has been amazing, the weather, the culture, the people & I know there’s still so much more for me to explore.”
The Future
“Looking into the future I’m super excited to see how far the Austin office can grow to. We’ve got some fantastic members of the team currently & with a brand-new office on the horizon, it allows us to continue the growth & supporting businesses across the US. “
