JOB- Warehouse Manager
LOCATION- Hinckley
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £35,000 to £40,000 per annum
Premier Engineering is on the search for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our client’s team in Hinckley.
The Warehouse Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
- Proven experience in warehouse management - minimum of 2 years managerial experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
The Warehouse Manager role will involve:
- Overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
- Managing and leading a team of warehouse staff
- Ensuring inventory accuracy and implementing control measures
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries
- Maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment
- Developing and implementing warehouse policies and procedures
- Monitoring performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations
