Experienced SQL Developer job description
We are looking for a SQL developer to develop MS-SQL queries and procedures, create custom reports, and enhance organizational productivity of our bespoke software. Responsible for designing databases and ensuring stability, reliability, and performance.
SQL Developer duties and responsibilities
- Development of high-quality database solutions
- Develop, implement, optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
- Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
- Research required data
- Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
- Analyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements
- Suggest new queries
- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
- Interacting with the business and technical teams to understand requirements
SQL Developer requirements and qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
- Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
- 5 years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis Services
- Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQLNewSQL databases
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Familiarity with SQL Server 2012,2016,2019
- Welcome knowledge of the application Trello, ASANA, Slack, Jira
- Welcome knowledge of version control environments TFS/GIT
We offer: £50,000 - £60,000
- Salary commensurate with skills and abilities
