Senior Software Engineer – Surrey - £60,000 - £75,000 pa

A global leader in the defence sector are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their rapidly growing R&D team developing innovative security solutions from concept to release.

Responsibilities:

Lead full product design life cycle from concept to release for new products
Liaise with clients/customers to take requirements
Lead projects and deliver them on time
Research new technologies to integrate into products

Key Skills/Experience:

Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline (1^st class/2:1)
Eligibility to obtain DV level security clearance
C++
Linux
Microcontrollers & Peripherals
Embedded Systems
Full software development life cycle

Any mix of the following would be beneficial:

Wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, AWS etc.)
Multi-threaded programming
Experience in regulated environments (Defence, Aerospace, Medical etc.)
