Senior RF Electronics Engineer – Cambridge/Hybrid/Remote - £70,000 - £90,000 pa
Due to a rapidly increasing workload, an Electronics Manufacturer area is looking for an RF Electronics Engineer to join their team developing communication solutions used in a variety of sectors including defence & security, marine and emergency services.
Responsibilities:
- Design new high frequency RF products
- Product improvement
- Work in a multi-disciplinary team of mechanical, software & hardware engineers
- Produce & maintain, design & test documentation.
- Carry out design reviews
Key Skills/Experience:
- Degree (or higher) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
- RF & Analogue design (VHF/UHF)
- RF Design (100 MHz – 1GHz)
- Great understanding and experience with RF Circuits and components (LNA/RF Amplifiers, oscillator/PLL’s, power amplifiers etc.)
- RF Test & measurement
- Analogue circuit design
- PCB design & layout
Any mix of the following is also nice to have:
- Discrete RF Design
- Programming languages (LabVIEW, Python, C/C++)
- EMC/EMI
