JOB - Project Manager
LOCATION - Maidenhead
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £50,000 to £60,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is working with a well-established engineering company based in Maidenhead that is looking to hire a mechanically biased Project Manager. Experience in the water industry is beneficial for this role.
The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
- A degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, etc.).
- Strong mechanical engineering background with proven project management experience.
- Experience managing projects from design to installation and commissioning.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication, and mechanical systems.
- Experience in the water industry or related sectors is beneficial.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project resources effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make critical project decisions.
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office.
The Project Manager role will involve:
- Leading and managing mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Working closely with design, manufacturing, and installation teams.
- Liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Identifying and resolving technical and project-related challenges.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and health & safety standards.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within project management processes.
