JOB - Project Engineer
LOCATION - Hemel Hempstead
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is seeking a Project Engineer to join a leading engineering company in Hemel Hempstead. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work on cutting-edge projects across a range of industries.
The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- A degree in Engineering or a related discipline (Mechanical or Product).
- Proven experience managing engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project challenges.
- Proficiency in project management tools and CAD software is advantageous (Autodesk Inventor)
- Modifying existing CAD Models and prototypes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, depending on project requirements.
The Project Engineer role will involve:
- Overseeing all phases of project execution, including planning, design, implementation, and delivery.
- Project Management
- Hands on work as well as using CAD
- Prototyping
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
- Preparing technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the company.
