Job - Project Engineer
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary Range: £33,000 - £43,000 per annum
Job Description:
As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing engineering projects from start to finish. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to understand project requirements and specifications
- Preparing engineering designs and technical drawings using CAD software
- Analyzing project feasibility, risks, and cost estimates
- Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and milestones
- Supervising and coordinating the work of subcontractors and suppliers
- Conducting regular progress meetings and providing project updates to stakeholders
- Ensuring projects adhere to industry standards, regulations, and quality control measures
- Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues or challenges that may arise during projects
- Completing project documentation, reports, and evaluations
- Maintaining effective communication and fostering positive relationships with clients and team members
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience with CAD software and other technical design tools
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Solid understanding of engineering principles, codes, and regulations
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to think creatively
- Team player with strong leadership qualities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
- Relevant professional certifications or memberships (preferred)
