- Experience working in a similar role within market analysis
- Background in product development and lifecycle management within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in marketing strategy development and execution
- Experience in B2B or technical/engineering marketing
- Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or similar
- Be proficient using 3D CAD software such as Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo etc.
- Knowledge of a variety of materials – sheet metal, injection moulded plastics etc.
- Be able to read engineering drawings
- Ability to liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budget
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Leading product development projects from concept to production
- Exploring the market and investigating new trends to identify new opportunities and target audiences
- Analysing customer reaction and discussing their needs
- Being involved in the design, prototyping, and testing of new products
- Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to drive business growth
- Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to support product launches
- Working with sales and engineering teams to create engaging, CAD-driven content
- Tracking and analysing marketing performance metrics to optimise strategies
- Attending events, trade shows, and product launches
