We are currently recruiting a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Bradford. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing various mechanical components and systems for our clients. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure that the designs meet the required specifications and standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Designing and developing mechanical components, products, and systems
- Using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed technical drawings and 3D models
- Conducting thorough analysis and simulations to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for any design-related issues
- Maintaining accurate documentation throughout the design process
- Remaining up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in mechanical design and product development
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
