Job Description
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and designing innovative mechanical systems and components. Using your technical expertise, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects from concept to completion. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement and optimization of existing products and processes. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting research and analysis to identify customer requirements and design specifications
- Creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software
- Performing calculations and simulations to ensure designs meet safety and performance standards
- Collaborating with manufacturing and production teams to ensure smooth implementation of designs
- Participating in design reviews and providing technical guidance to junior engineers
- Troubleshooting and resolving any design or production issues that may arise
Required Skills
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in an industrial setting
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other design tools
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in design work
