ROLE - Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer
LOCATION - Southend-On-Sea
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
Premier Engineering is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Southend-On-Sea office of an established Engineering consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse engineering projects and develop your skills within the design sector.
The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• A strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
• Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings
• Experience working with various materials and manufacturing processes during your studies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
The Graduate Mechanical Engineer role will involve:
• Collaborating with engineers and clients on technical design projects
• Developing mechanical design solutions for civil and structural applications
• Assisting with calculations and analysis for design work
• Supporting project teams in delivering engineering solutions on time and within budget
• Participating in project reviews and preparing detailed reports
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the design team
