Engineering Manager – West London - £100,000 pa - £120,000 pa A global electronics manufacturer designing leading satellite communication products for the maritime industry are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead their R&D team in West London. Responsibilities: Lead & Manage a cross functional team of Electronics Hardware, Firmware, Software & Mechanical Engineers designing top of the range satellite communication devices. Collaborate with the Project Manager to define the Hardware & Software development life cycle in tandem with the overall project schedule. Allocate & delegate tasks and responsibilities to individual contributors. Use technical background to support hands on engineers with technical tasks and research of new technologies for integration with current products. Key Skills/Experience: Degree in relevant Engineering discipline (Electronics/Mechanical/Electrical etc.) Experience with Systems, Hardware & Electronics Engineering within a regulated environment (Aerospace, Defence, Space etc.) Proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams Full development life cycle experience from concept to release Technical background/knowledge in Electronics/Embedded Software Any mix of the following is nice to have: Satellite Communications systems experience DDQS methodologies Project tracking (Jira etc.) RF/Wireless technologies If you are interested in the position and think you have the skills required as an Engineering Manager, please don’t hesitate to apply.
