Embedded Software Engineer – Cambridge
A leading and rapidly growing consultancy specialising in the Defence & Security sector are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join their R&D team working on research, prototyping and design for various clients across the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients & stakeholders to take project requirements & present projects
- Work on full product life cycle from concept to release
- Analysis and prototype design for a wide variety of electronics products using different skills and technologies for a wide range of clients in the Defence & Security sector
Key Skills/Experience:
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
- Good analytical and problem solving ability
- Great theoretical knowledge of various Embedded Software design areas including:
- Embedded C/C++
- RTOS/Linux/Bare metal programming
- Debugging
- Serial interfaces and peripheral drivers
- Algorithm design and development
- Other programming languages (C#, MATLAB, Python etc.)
