Salary on offer
The salary on offer for the successful Electronics Design Engineer is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on skillset and experience.
Summary of the Electronics Design Engineering role:
This is an exciting hands on Electronics Design Engineering role because the successful candidate will be accountable for the design of new products as well as maintaining and upgrading existing products. The Electronics Design Engineer will also manage design projects from technical perspective, cost and product brief from conception to volume manufacture that will cover Electronics Hardware Design, PCB Design & Embedded Programming.
Electronics Design Engineer Key Skills:
- Minimum of 3+ years industry experience
- Electronics Circuit Design (analogue & digital)
- PCB Design & Schematic Capture
- Schematic Capture - Altium Designer Mentor PADS, Kicad or Eagle CAD
- Programming Embedded C for Embedded Design
- Experience of microcontrollers – STM32
- Knowledge and experience of DFM, DFC & EMC
- Practical skills - prototype (circuit) design, build, testing, debugging, soldering, system fault finding
Desirable nice to have skills:
- Programming VB/VBA
- Programming Python
- SMPS
- LED lighting/drivers
- Battery charging
