Electronics Engineer - £40,000 - £50,000 pa – North/East Yorkshire
An established electronics R&D company based in North Yorkshire are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join their team designing & manufacturing leading measurement instruments.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- PCB design & schematic capture
- Component selection, circuit simulation
- Electronics test, fault finding & prototyping
- Improvement of current design processes
- New product development and existing technology improvements
- Mechanical CAD design
Key Skills/Requirements:
- HND/HNC/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
- PCB design & layout
- Schematic capture
- Microcontrollers & Peripherals
- Analogue & Digital circuit design & simulation
- Design for EMC
- Electronics test & prototyping
- Good understanding of electro-mechanical systems
Any mix of the following is nice to have:
- Embedded Software (Embedded C/C++)
- Microcontrollers & Peripherals
- Experience in the marine/naval sector
- Mechanical design (SolidWorks)
- Hazardous environments (ATEX etc.)
- OrCAD/Allegro
