ROLE – Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician
LOCATION – Hereford
TERM – Permanent
SALARY- £27,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
My client is a specialist manufacturer within the Defence sector. They are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their team in Hereford on a permanent basis.
The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
- Ideally be experienced with Soldering
- A background in Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Team player
- Eager to train and develop their career in Engineering/Manufacture
The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician role will involve:
- Building of sub-assemblies
- Working to procedures and instructions
- Working with copper and brass – soldering and brazing
- Testing and fault-finding
- Repair and calibration
- Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
