JOB – Electrical Design Engineer
LOCATION – South Wales
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £40,000 - £52,000 per annum depending on experience
A South Wales based engineering company are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- HND of equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
- At least 3 years’ experience in electrical design.
- Good experience with electrical drawing packages such as AutoCAD Electrical & Eplan.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Full UK driving license.
- PLC software knowledge is beneficial.
The Electrical Design Engineer’s duties will involve:
- The development of new products from design & build through to testing & commissioning.
- Control panel & machinery design.
- Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
- Attending site visits when required.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure requirements are met at all times.
