JOB – Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services
LOCATION – Chelmsford
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £55,000 - £70,000 per annum
A Chelmsford based manufacturing company are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- HNC or equivalent/ higher electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
- Previous electrical design experience for BMS/ Commercial projects & environments.
- Proficient with electrical design packages such as AutoCAD, Amtech & Trimble.
- Lighting design experience using Dialux/ Relux is also beneficial.
- Full UK driving license
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
The Electrical Design Engineer’s duties will involve:
- The development of electrical designs & technical drawings/ documentation.
- Liaising with customers & other departments within the company to ensure requirements are met.
- Attending site visits when required.
- Providing support to junior engineers when required.
- Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
