Digital Design Engineer – Berkshire - £60,000 pa - £100,000 pa
A world leading semiconductor company is looking for a Digital Design Engineers to join their team developing next generation chip technology. They have multiple positions open across their UK and European sites and have great growth plans for the rest of the year.
Responsibilities:
- Define block-level specifications of high-speed digital circuits.
- Architectural specification review and improvement.
- RTL design & testing.
- Work in a team of digital, analog/mixed-signal, design, verification and implementation engineers.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
- RTL Programming (Verilog/SystemVerilog etc.)
- Experience in design of High-speed interfaces & protocols (USB4, PCIe etc.)
- CMOS technologies
- Strong understand of high-speed and low-power design
- Verification methodologies (UVM etc.)
- Good knowledge of CDC techniques and issues
Any mix of the following is nice to have:
- Testing, scripting, CI/CD automation
- Python
- Knowledge of PCIe Physical Layer
- CADENCE design tools
- Analog/Digital Control interfaces
