JOB- Contracts Manager
LOCATION- Ripley, Derbyshire
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £60,000 to £70,000 per annum
We are currently on the look out for a skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join one of our client's in Ripley. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the management of contracts and ensure the smooth execution of projects.
The Contracts Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
- 5 Years+ Experience in Contract Management, preferably within the engineering sector
- Relevant qualifications in Contract Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar
- Proven experience in negotiating, drafting, and managing contracts
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
The Contracts Manager role will involve:
- Managing the entire contract lifecycle from negotiation to termination
- Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
- Ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations and company standards
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate contract execution and address any issues
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date contract documentation and records
- Supporting the engineering team by providing contract-related guidance and assistance
- Ensuring timely and efficient execution of projects in line with contractual terms
