JOB- CNC Machinist
LOCATION- Cambridge
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
My client is currently on the lookout for a new CNC Machinist to join the team in their Cambridge office.
The CNC Machinist will ideally have the following attributes:
- Have 5 Years+ experience machining and manufacturing precision parts and components
- Knowledge and experience of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Delcam and Powermill
- Be able to read from engineering drawings
- Knowledge of Materials and Cutting Technologies - including materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium
- Experience with 3 and 5 axis machining
- Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
The CNC Machinist position will involve:
- Working with CNC machinery - setting up and managing
- Running multiple machines – responsible for the scheduling and day to day running of workshop
- Inspecting components as required
- Reading from engineering drawings
- Adhering to company H&S requirements
