ROLE – Civil Design Engineer   SALARY – £30,000 - £40,000 (Dependant on experience)   TYPE - Permanent   LOCATION – Manchester   My client provides temporary Design documents, Drawings and solutions. They are looking for a Civil Design Engineer to join their team in the Manchester area on a permanent basis.   The Civil Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Degree qualified or similar in Geotechnical / Civil Engineering etc. Proficiency with 3D CAD software- ideally Inventor and AutoCAD but other programmes might also be considered Confident writing technical papers and reports Able to manage projects and work to deadlines Be technically minded with a head for problem solving Be a fast learner who enjoys developing their skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Able to work well individually as well as part of a team   The Civil Design Engineer role will involve: Being an ambassador for the company and promoting products to customers globally Understanding the equipment and its operation Installing equipment and training customers In-house assembly, testing and calibration Occasional travel, sometimes internationally Working within the current engineering team with other Design Engineers Seeing through design projects from concept through to completion Producing 3D designs using Revit CAD software and AutoCAD Generating the BOM’s to go with the associated designs Liaising with colleagues on other engineering tasks as required   If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
