3rd Line Support Engineer
Infrastructure, Azure, SQL, App Deployment, External Support
Location: Kingston-Upon-Thames
Salary: £50,000-£53,000
Hybrid: 2-3 days per week on site
We are looking for a proven 3rd Line Support Engineer to join our client providing external software support to their customers.
You will act as the escalation point for reported issues or queries and log and track the resolutions to the customers. Working alongside the support team, you will use your technical knowledge and experience to drive the ongoing assistance, undertaking analysis and diagnosis.
Key Responsiblities:
- Experience deploying and managing Azure App Services to host API, Microservices and Web Applications
- Provide remote support and installation of the systems to the customers
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Log and track all software cases - managing the communication process and update the status to resolution
- Escalate cases where necessary by arranging technical support or escalating to engineering and development teams
- Update documentation with customer requirements for rollouts
- Undertake small to medium sized IT projects
Key Skills:
- Work with SQL to configure connection, optimise queries and integration with app services
- Integration and management of Azure Blob Storage for scalable data storage
- Experience working with Azure App Service
- Show familiarity with networking options (VNET integration, private endpoints)
- Experience in integrating storage accounts (blob, queue, table)
- Knowledge of deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Networking and Security
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure Entra, MS Exchange and MS Office
- Understanding of infrastructure Management
We are looking for someone who has experience within a 3rd Line role working to support external clients and is comfortable working with SQL and Azure. With a salary range of £50,000-£53,000 depending on experience, hybrid working + other benefits.
You will be required to undertake a police vetting process as part of this role.
